Scholarship Announcement Reception

Ateer K. Sheth, a Griffin native, completed his bachelor’s degree in psychology at UGA.  He went on to earn a master’s degree in neuroscience from the Atlanta Institute of Neuroscience.  He has more than 20 years of experience and specialized training in Neurodiagnostics.  Ateer has become a tremendous supporter and friend to our campus.  In fact, some of you may’ve met him and his wife at our recent Taste of Nations.  

Ateer has created an endowment that will lead to our being able to award scholarships to students on this campus who intend to go into the medical field.  He established this fund in honor of his mentor, Dr.  Mark Alan Wolgin.  

A small reception will be held in SLC 104 at 5:30pm on Friday, March 29.  We’ll have light refreshments along with some words to celebrate this gift, its donor, and the mentor whom it was created to honor.
