Resources for Faculty & Staff

Dedicated faculty and staff are at the heart of quality instruction at the University of Georgia. That’s why it is important to provide faculty with the resources they need to be successful in the classroom and providing staff with the tools for helping students reach their goals.

Facilities Issues

Issues concerning buildings or campus facilities are handled by Physical Plant on the Griffin Campus. All issues require that faculty or staff fill out a work order.

Meeting Room Reservations

The Office of Continuing Education processes all reservations for the Naomi Woodroof Chapman Pavilion, the Garden Education Building and Gazebo at the Research and Education Garden, and all meeting rooms in the Flynt and Stuckey Buildings. Academic IT processes all reservations for the Student Learning Center. Please click this link to submit a room reservation for the Student Learning Center.

Access Cards and Key Requests

For all access control cards and physical key requests, please have your department admin fill out the form at the link below for approval and processing. A copy of the current Access Control Policy can also be found at the link below.

Campus Terracycle Program

Our local University of Georgia Terracycle program is championed by Amy Mann. Below is a currently flyer regarding items that are accepted for recycling.

Experimental Statistics

The Experimental Statistics Unit provides statistical support to researchers in the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences.

Motor Pool Policy

UGA Orientation/Onboarding System

Effective May 2, 2012, individuals who are hired at UGA or change benefits eligibility status will complete all required paperwork in the UGA Onboarding System. New hires and employees changing benefits eligibility status will receive an email from onboard@uga.edu or a phone call from UGA Human Resources with instructions for accessing the secure Onboarding System.

Visitor Housing

The Visitor House is “home away from home” where one has the opportunity to live on the UGA Griffin Campus for a low, affordable price. Occupancy is available for visiting scholars, graduate students, and post-doctoral employees who are either cooperating with or are employed by the UGA Griffin Campus. The house contains five double occupancy rooms.
