University of Georgia Griffin Campus boasts a small college atmosphere with the benefits of obtaining a degree from a university with a strong national reputation for academic excellence. The standards for admission are the same as those for the main campus in Athens. Graduates earn a University of Georgia degree and join a network of more than 320,000 alumni around the world.
UGA Griffin offers degree-completion programs for undergraduate students who have completed their core curriculum and meet the requirements for admission to the University of Georgia. Four of UGA’s colleges offer undergraduate degrees across multiple disciplines.
UGA Griffin also offers graduate degrees in Mathematics Education, Plant Protection and Pest Management, Student Affairs Leadership, and Workforce Education.

Low student-to-faculty ratios at UGA Griffin allow personalized instruction from world-renowned faculty. The many students who work and/or engage in directed research on campus have the opportunity to perform cutting-edge research in on-site labs, thereby gaining real-world work experience and developing marketable job skills well before graduation.

UGA Griffin hosts several events throughout the year for prospective students to become acquainted with the campus and community, including mix-and-mingles with UGA Griffin faculty and staff, business leaders and local officials; lunch-and-learn sessions on academic programs and career opportunities; counselor information sessions; and tours of campus.
In addition to events hosted on campus, UGA Griffin representatives participate in college and career fairs held in our local area as well as visit specific area institutions and schools to meet with prospective students and their advisors.
