Well-Being Room/Hub

Our UGA Griffin Well-Being Hub is located in Stuckey Room 155 (between the library sitting area and the Game Room). It is a tranquil retreat designed for students to unwind before, between, and after classes.  Relax in the vibrating massage recliner with the weighted blanket while enjoying the kinetic art on the wall.  We have disposable eye masks, noise canceling headphones, and a variety of coloring books, dump journals, and small Lego kits to take your mind off of daily stresses.  Come and enjoy this serene environment, created to promote well-being and support you in navigating the challenges of academic life. This room is on a first come first serve basis.

Sexual Assault Response Team (SART)

Many resources are available to UGA students impacted by relationship violence, sexual violence, stalking and harassment. There is help both on and off the UGA Griffin campus. The University of Georgia’s Sexual Assault Response Team (SART) is intended to coordinate and assist the University of Georgia in delivering the highest quality of services to victims/survivors of sexual assault.

UGA’s Sexual Assault Prevent and Response website can be accessed at the link below. UGA’s Sexual and Relationship Violence Prevention (RSVP) office offers UGA students a 24-hour confidential hotline for support and crisis intervention at whatever time you need it most. If you have just experienced an assault, they can walk you through your options via phone and arrange to meet with you in person. To learn more about next steps, call the Fontaine Center at 706-542-8690 during business hours, or call the 24/7 RSVP hotline at 706-542-7233 for after-hours support.

To report on-campus assaults on the Griffin Campus, contact 911 or 770-229-6450.

Confidential Support Resources in the Griffin Area include UGA Ombudsperson at the link below . Non-UGA resources include options such as Southern Crescent Sexual Assault Center and Promise Place. All UGA campus members are potential resources to students.
