The Bachelor of Arts (A.B.) with an Interdisciplinary Studies major and Sociology concentration includes a number of criminology courses and provides a solid foundation for careers in industrial, management, adoption/child care services, health and human services, public relations, human resources, education, law enforcement/corrections, marketing, communications, training, data analysis, etc. The Sociology Concentration also prepares students for post-graduate study in business, law, public administration, criminal justice, and the social sciences.
Campus Entry Requirements
- Completion of a minimum of 60 semester hours of transferable credit by the application deadline.
- Transfer GPA of at least 3.00 as calculated by the UGA Undergraduate Admissions Office.
- Completion of high school at least one year prior to term of enrollment at UGA Griffin.
- Completion of at least one year of college by the term of intended enrollment.
